Stephanie Henry, DVM, is an emergency veterinarian at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro.

Professional Accomplishments 

Dr. Henry majored in zoology at North Carolina State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in 1992. After graduation, she moved to Orlando, FL where she worked at Sea World as an educator. It was here that she discovered her passion for animal care. She subsequently returned to North Carolina for veterinary school, graduating in 2001. She worked in general practice for several years before transitioning into emergency work.

Dr. Henry completed acupuncture training in 2019 and is looking forward to incorporating this skill into her treatment plans. She hopes to add ultrasonography to her repertoire in the coming year. Dr. Henry joined the Army Reserves in 2006 and has participated in humanitarian missions within the US as well as abroad.

In her spare time, she enjoys home improvement projects and spending time with her 5 children; her favorite hobbies are home renovation, painting and her saltwater reef tank.
