Michelle Parenteau

Michelle Parenteau, DVM, is an emergency veterinarian at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro with a passion for helping animals and supporting the human-animal bond.

Following a career in the US Air Force as an Aerospace Engineer, Dr. Parenteau decided to pursue her passion of helping animals and supporting the human-animal bond. A Colorado native, Dr. Parenteau has lived all over the west before finally moving to North Carolina in 2019. She enjoys caring for all animals, large or small, whether they have fur, scales, wings, or hooves.

When not working, Dr. Parenteau can be found training her dogs for competitions, hiking, kayaking or making terrible art! She enjoys running her mini-farm, sharing her life with her dogs, goats, horse, donkey, chickens and cats.
