Wendi Wells

Wendi Wells, DVM, is an emergency veterinarian at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro.

Dr. Wendi Wells graduated from the University of Missouri Veterinary School in 1995. After graduation she completed a small animal rotating internship at the Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Akron, Ohio. She then worked as an emergency doctor at the Forsyth After Hours Emergency Clinic and owned a traveling endoscopy business.

In 2001she was hired at Carolina Veterinary Specialists inGreensboro as the co-director of the Animal Emergency and Trauma Center. She continued as an emergency doctor until she joined the Animal Care Clinic of Rural Hall in 2015. Although full-time in general practice she never completely left emergency medicine and has been doing urgent care every other Saturday at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro.

Dr. Wells has two children in college and is making good use of her “free” time with her newly acquired private pilot’s license. She hopes to begin transporting rescue animals for Pilots N Paws. She also enjoys scuba diving, traveling and logic puzzles.
