Peter Czajkowski, BS, DVM, is a surgeon at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Greensboro with a special interest in cardiothoracic surgery and orthopedics.
Dr. Peter Czajkowski was born and raised in Georgia. Following completion of his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia, he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Czajkowski completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Denver, CO followed by a surgical internship at Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego. Dr. Czajkowski completed his small animal surgery residency at Tufts University. Throughout his training, Dr. Czajkowski has gained experience in a variety of procedures, including abdominal and thoracic surgery, orthopedics, and neurologic surgery. He has a special professional interest in cardiothoracic surgery and orthopedics, specifically fracture repair and cranial cruciate ligament injury.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son as well as their 3 dogs (Beau, Brix, and Nala). He also enjoys running, tennis, and all things Georgia Bulldogs.
